so...

lets say i'm new to crypto, although i had some in the past when bitcoin was valued at $600 (few years now like)

if i was going to invest in crypto, but only as a side thing, i'm looking at spending just £50 a week in buying crypto just to hold for years.

Where would i now start?

Any places i should use to purchase?

what type of wallet is best,

so experts, come and give me your advice to a newbie in this market,
you 1 time posters stay away not interested in your post count spam.

i'm not in this to short meme coins or shit like that, just looking at maybe building up a portfolio.

coinbase any good?

trust wallet?

trading 212 ?

whats your take

I'd say T212 has high enough fees for crypto as it's a brokerage for all things investing, I'd honestly rather those short extra fees for the chance to swap my BTC for the likes of INTL in future - with ease

If you are looking for safety of funds, the safest are the cold wallets: Ledger the best imo, Trezor, Tangem etc. due your due diligence with those ones.
Second, if you are talking about having crypto at disposal and trading, Binance, by far the best/biggest, but there are also other options: Bybit, Kukoin, Mexc, Gate.io, and some others. Learn about Tier 1,2,3 crypto exchanges.

Be carefully the one mentioned above require KYC.

If you are looking without KYC, then I recommend hot wallets like Metamask, Phanton etc.|

Depends a lot what activity you're trying to do. If you're doing trading, receiving payments, sending payments etc.

In my opinion u can start to buy daily 30 usdt to BTC on your spot wallet so thats why u can earn for longtherm.

Binance is best. You can just afford to invest like 50 usd per week on latest coins and just hold them for a year or two. You will see profits in long run.
