I am wondering where a good free source to check the number of .edu and .gov links going to any particular site is? I used to use the Yahoo UK site explorer, but this is no longer a reliable source. I am looking to develop an application that will display the number of .edu and .gov links to any site; similar to what Traffic Travis and Market Samurai currently show.
Even better would be a free API. But if you know of any source of where I can get .edu and .gov link data please let me know! Thanks,
