I have an herbal product (Chinese medicine not drugs) clean site, good sales. I can afford a good commission but I don't know how to recruit affiliates other than just emailing bloggers directly which I have been doing.

Clickbank would work good also find forums related to medicine and promote your affiliate program.
Good luck with your sales!

Thanks man! I like the forum thought, I'm going to get on that and look into clickbank also.

Clickbank is great, you can use also Clicksure or jvzoo. they are also awesome. Good luck with you product.

I would recommend Clickbank too.

You can also post a JV for a direct recruitment agent.

Where would I post a JV for a direct recruitment agent? I'm assuming this is someone who recruits affiliates for you. What percentage would that cost me typically?

The above poster spammed me via pm, so I advised him that if his leads were so good, he would make a lot more money selling via affiliate sales instead of selling crappy leads. He never took me up on that offer.

To get back to the question at hand, recruiting affiliates takes a lot of time and effort to contact sites that rank high in your niche. You need to offer them more money than they are currently making to switch to you.

Have a look at shareasale and other networks which have low entry fees to join their network.
