Hey, i want to know what is the safe way to promote your affiliate links or anything else on youtube. My channel is based on shorts. Should i pin comment with linktree, or direct to affiliate link? Or this is the bad idea at all? Im newbie in Youtube so im not sure, i have some traffic i would like to monetize because YPP is not possible.

Having your own domain redirecting to the affiliate offer is always better

Share your own landing page link. Affiliate links can change anytime and have to update all your YouTube videos. So avoid to share direct link.

And what about linktree, can i use that as landing page, and then redirect to the offers or some other alternative similar to linktree?

If you have an instagram account, shorten the link and put in in display on your bio, as you are creating content and driving traffic to your page, people will visit the link. Do the same for tiktok, facebook and the likes
