    Hi all,

i have a question: based on your experience - if you placed exactly the same article to ezinearticles, Articlesbase, squidoo and hubpages - which of them would be placed most highly in gugle's SERPs? And which of them will allow to publish your own adsense links? Only hubpages?

    Many thanks!

My bet would be that if all had the same amount of backlinks and all other factors remained the same, Ezine Articles would be at the top, but like you said they don't allow Adsense. Hubpages does allow Adsense so you'll have to make a choice.

What are you going for exactly? SEO or just promoting a web 2.0 property to #1?

thanks charlie, i want my articles to be at top of google for specific long tail keywords and promote some CB products. I think i will use hubpages just because all the others have adsense as well, but only HP can generate extra income from your own adsense links.
I want to use other articles directories just for SEO - but i am not sure about duplicate content. Some say I have to rewrite my articles each time, some say it is not necessary. Any thoughts here?

    thx

You will definitely have to rewrite your articles each time if you want good results, especially for Ezine and SEO, but if you're just promoting a CB product all you have to do is really make sure it makes sense and isn't some spun crap.

Also about promoting CB products, you don't want your potential customers clicking away to an Adsense link, you want them going to your CB landing page. Make your content compelling and good and you won't have to worry about your visitors clicking away on an ad, they will most likely click you affiliate link, which will get you a higher commission if they buy it.
