Where To Look For Cold Callers...?

Hiii Fellow BHatters,

I was thinking of offering Video Marketing Services
To Local Businesses...

I think cold calling is a good way to approach potential leads.
But i am not that good when it comes to cold calling.

So what i was thinking is to look for cold callers who work on commission basis .
I was thinking to give them $100 for every deal they close.
Is think its fair enough.

My Question Is Where can i find them...?

Sorry if it sounds silly,but i have no experience before in these kind of matters ....
Any suggestions and answers would be appreciated..

I Think They work on hourly basis,I want someone who works on commission base.

Just post your ad on this forum, the hire a freelancer section for example, but be better to get someone local to you and pay them wages instead of doing it a commission based thing. Try out and see what works best.

Have you checked out outbounders.com? I haven't been able to find any kind of deal that is anywhere close to them and nice and ready to go. I still haven't used them, just done plenty of research in this area.

I wouldn't even touch anything related to outsourcing your cold calling.

It MUST be in house. Sales is a lifestyle not just a job or a part time commitment.. I know this because I have my own team that cold call for me and let me tell you it is very profitable but you must know how to manage a team or hire a manager to do this for you.

You need to create the right atmosphere, reward schemes and your staff need a killer script. You can't "maybe" sell something it has to be sold like an arrow straight through the heart! confident and sure! So you have to be 100% about your product.

If your targeting Indian business then outsourcing Indian dialers makes sense.

If your targeting north americian business I would hire a native English speaker.

I'm saying this because I've been in the cold calling business for close to 5 years now and landing a sale won't happen if these guys just read a script.

Business owners wanna talk to a intelligent visionary with ideas and view for creative input. They don't wanna have a language barrier when trying to explain how they want the video to look.

You would have hard time finding someone of Freelancer, Odesk and Elance to do this work for you, because of two reasons:

1. To post advertisement for commission based work is either not allowed or paid. I don't remember which one, but if it's allowed you can't do anything about it, if it's paid - it's 200$ per posting. And most of the replies you will get will be from people who have zero or very little experience with such kind of things.

Not a cold calling guru but you could just place an ad in CL and find college students who want to
make an extra buck or two. Set up a Skype account or other VOIP service account to make the calls.
