My two oldest kids forgot the languages that they learned throughout their school years. They're in their 20's.

I live in Croatia and Capljina looks like a great place to live. Do you have stores there with computer stuff? Everything seems really cheap, damn! And I already speak the language so that wouldn't be a problem at all.

Yes, there are IT stores everywhere, really low prices too. :)

The language barrier thing is barely a problem, except for dating. Even then, I often consider it more of a perk, less yapping.

I live in Vietnam now and the majority of locals speak little to no English. Sure, lots of coffee places and restaurants understand you, young people and expats understand you but the MAJORITY is clueless. Yet you still get by. It's an experience of it's own.

I had the same thing when living in Montenegro for two months. There, almost no one spoke english, even if coffee shops, and I didn't learn tha language. Yet I still got by.

Now I'm trying to learn Vietnamese and i'm getting by with the locals much better, get better prices, have more awesome experiences and get to learn even more about the culture. Anywhere you live, you should put in at least some effort to learn their language and culture. It's depressing to see expats who have lived here for years but cannot even say hello or thank you. Get some manners, people.

Well thanks all it really good to see so many options, the advantage of living from the internet is have the opportunity to live anywhere.
