Where to learn web design?

I don't know whether Udacity.com provide lesson about web designing but they do give lesson about programming and some stuff. Good thing about it is that it is a free course online and they do provide certificate for people who passed their exam. They do have great teachers there. If my memory serves me well one of the co-founder of google were included on their videos, he just talked about search engine and what programming language they use to build it.

Lynda.com probably has the best tutorials. You can try their free videos. It's worth paying for the membership if your budget allows. Otherwise, net.tutplus.com also has a lot good tutorials

w3school website is the best site for learning web designing.
Another vote for lynda. I downloaded a bunch of their videos and watched everything I could on youtube. I also read a lot of tutorial sites and learned by messing stuff up.
Most of it I learned by trial and error. To get good at photoshop just spend hours doing tutorials step by step and learn the process.

Join any web designing school and learn complete designing course there with graphic. It is the best for learn internet mother language. Join and school of web desiging and graphics for complete learning.

Bear in mind that these tutorials are extremely basic. They won't teach you advanced CSS unless you specifically go looking for it. They won't teach you how to be an artist either - you can't teach an average Joe to be Picasso. As for JavaScript, they won't teach you design patterns - only formal schooling or experience from the field will.
Last but not least, there's a choice of a server-side language. But that's web development, not web design.
