It is also possible to make money in any year by investing your time, knowledge and energy.
On the surface, your question is a request for knowledge. As others have mentioned, we do not know your skillset(s). A plumber may make money differently than a software programmer. A stock broker may do better in their own industry, just as a doctor may be better staying in theirs. Telling you to go buy a domain assumes you know how to do this. Here are a few ideas, but understand that you are both the solution and the problem, in that you need to mitigate, work-around, fix your weaknesses, and you are the only person who will improve you.
Internet Domains
There are a lot of options related to internet domains. You could flip them, you could establish your own brand, you could build and sell, you could use for affiliate marketing, and so forth.
Blogging
This is related to Internet Domains, but there are free blogging options, although I would recommend you avoid them.
YouTube
You could start your own channel, and use the $100 for incidentals or operational costs.
Gambling
Risky, but it could go in your favor, especially if you know what you are doing.
Reselling / Local Market Buy, Refurbish, Sell
I like this one, but it depends on where you are and your local markets.
Water
You could buy water bottles in "bulk" then sell them outside of events. I would recommend you see what everyone else is selling for, then sell for a little less, and make a huge sign so everyone can see you are the best priced in the area.
Candy
Similar to the water hustle, buy "bulk" candy, sell outside an event. Leave it in the original larger boxes, and let people pick from the larger boxes. If you take them out of the boxes, it makes it feel more suspicious.
Art
This is such a broad response, but perhaps use your imagination here. I have drawn caricatures using a pencil and paper on a bench. $100 in art supplies can go far.
House Cleaning
Buy cleaning supplies and clean houses.
Laundry Service
Pickup laundry to be cleaned at peoples home or office in the morning, take it somewhere to be cleaned, then return it to them the same day.
