Where to go next with a small time version of a PPD?

I have recently set up a site that includes files ranked highest in MediaFire and places a CPA offer infront of them on my site. I have been trying to rank it up with SENukeX but have come to no real avail, any advice on what I could to differently and how to grow the site? PS I have been also backlinking manually and this seems to be working but it takes a lot of time.
