Wondering where do I come from here?

Found niche: 4,400 Global 2,900 Local (exact)
Competition: Only real comp is Wiki the rest have no backlinks or aged domain.
Domain: could not find emd but got EMD with an e in front of it so it looks like this eemd (ex erarecards)
Article: Outsourced an article 500 words about my niche with about 2% keyword density.

Where should I start to get on google front page for my keyword?

I guess I am looking for a road map of some sorts.

quick advice: change the kw and you shouldn't look for one with at least 50k local monthly searches (would give you aprox. 100-250 visitors a day)

50k exact searches thats not a micro niche site and good luck.finding one with low comp

Well the information you are looking for is readily talked about every day here on these very forums. You already know what to do. You have read what to do. I bet a dollar you have read ten guides already on what to do. But you, like me at one time, want someone to hold your hand and walk you through it. Here is what you do:

Scrap the "e"keyword.com. Find something better. That sounds pretty dumb to me. Get hosting, get the domain, set up wordpress. Put a 1000 word article optimized for SEO on the homepage. Write at least ten more articles (unique), put them on the site. Put on a contact page, privacy policy, whatever else you want. Wait a few weeks. Begin backlinking. See the hundreds of guides and thousands upon thousands of posts already on these forums about backlinking. Monetize your site however way you want to choose. See the thousands of posts here about monetization. Maybe do a content locker for some good information?

Appreciate the advice I have the domain I have hostgator and wordpress very familar with wordpress and cpanel for hostgator.

Why do you say 1000 article does google like that better than 500 word article and how long should the 10 other articles?

See my problem is I here so many different theories people say write 5 articles post 3 to your site the other 2 submit them to web 2.0 and than do social bookmarking, than you link wheel and do backlinking. this is where i start getting lost?

The thing you need to do Josh is just pick a theory and go with it. Chances are none of us have tried all the theories. We pick one that sounds good or think of our own that we think will do good, and we run with it. If you haven't even built your site yet, do that first. Baby steps. Build your site and worry about backlinking later. Backlinking is no good anyway if you don't have a site!

I have several websites that never worked out, but you use that experience to built better sites in the future. Unless you actually do the work, you will never get the experience, and will forever be a newbie. So rather than ask questions about every step of the process, decide on a strategy you think sounds good and do it!!
