Where to get mobile app scripts?

I have made websites before and i understand how to host them.

But i am want try to host an app on google play for people to download.

Where can i get free mobile app scripts? And how to host them?

I have a vps at the moment. I know nothing about hosting apps or apps in general but i want to learn.

Im looking for a simple script where i can upload 1 photo a day and users can vote "like or dislike"

Any information for a newbie?
