Sometime back I used a couple of free hosts that give you free hosting for posting in their forum. Is there any FREE host that is totally free.. no forum posts, no ads, nothing? A free host that let you use your own .com domain.. some free hosts like byethost give you free hosting but they let you use domains mysite.byethost . com..

Anyone know of an absolutely FREE host?

Really want to know as well.

Thanks in advance

there are many actually
you can try
000webhost.com

they allow .com domains and no posting required

But don't expect high uptime in free hosting
you can use it for your test sites

These are the top free webhosts just google them to get their website-

0000cost

I saw here recently an US hosting site called atomiclayer. registered and it work well

X10hosting is better as it also provide a free shared SSL i think!

000webhost just gave me the boot (nothing inappropriate or tos breaking) and i only receive like ~1k/day uv

Code:
serversfree.com
byethost.com
awardspace.com

i use those three + smartdots, pretty much more than enough for my BH need :sgrin:

I highly doubt there is that many high-quality ad-free hosting services. There may be some, mainly because they want to entice you to buy an upgrade. The ones where you get basic hosting without ads might be better.

You can use this 000webhost.com, reehostingsites.net, webs.com, 110mb.com, freehosting.com or you can also search in Google.

000webhost is a good one. Easy & fast to set up.

Try Freehostia. I'm using it and I'm quite happy with it so far.

No, they fill my site with tons of ads after about a week or two. Good thing it is just a test site.

To be honest if you are looking for free hosting I would bite the bullet and at least sign up for the Baby package with Hostgator.

You won't regret it in the long run and you will be able to do so much more with YOUR website.

Just my opinion, as most free hosting packages will just run ads and more than that the bandwidth that you will get in normally horrible!
