I just want the Twitter button, FB like button and G+ button placed side by side. The really simple ones that look like this:

Where can I get something like this? I can't seem to find a social sharing plugin that doesn't install 1000000 GB of bloatware onto my backend or doesn't use "better" custom designed buttons. Heatmap has these buttons it's fantastic but I can't seem to dissect the code.

As in for your posts or for your site?

My site... I figured it out though. The plugin's called "Simple Social Buttons". Why couldn't I ever find this before? Now I feel like an idiot lmao. Oh well maybe it'll help someone who wants the same ;)

You can find really simple, very inexpensive software, scripts, themes and plugins for just about anything at Envato.

The one I use for my posts/articles is Floating social buttons or something like that... it does the job :)

I fully agree op, finding a good simple social media plugin for wp can be a fucking headache. You would think it would be simpler

and many many more

The problem with those buttons is that i find it decrase the loading speend of pages, and sometime a lot :(

Thanks but I installed Share-A-Holic before and immediately uninstalled it... It's like Bloatware. 1000 functions I don't want or need. I found the right plugin though, can't post links but it's called "Simple Social Buttons" for anyone who's interested. It literally places the barebones buttons. No flashy back-end with 10000 functions and pop-ups and "communities" and all that rubbish, just plain, simple buttons. My site has only slowed down around 200 ms using these, which is still annoying AF but I think it's worth it. I think Google probably use social metrics.

One feature I really do like with Share-A-Holic though is the shareable images feature. I have a lot of informative graphs and tables (JPGs) on my site which I think some people would want to share... But it's not worth the slowdown that comes from using such a hefty plugin, plus only does Pinterest.

P.S. Can anyone tell me whether social buttons will help or harm my site? Because of the niche it's not something people are likely to share, maybe once in a while.

Digg Digg is what I use, works great and is pretty fast.
