Where to find niche ideas ?

I have a little money to invest, and I want to start a new website, to make some cash with CPA, I think... anyway, from where can I get some ideas of what websites to make ? I heard about amazon or clickbank, but I want the idea to be something that I like too, and not very competitive. Do you have some suggestions ?

if you want to have a look at clickbank products i use cbsnooper - you can choose a niche that interests you and then find the best selling affiliate products for that niche

the other website that i tend to use a bit is offervault as it reviews not only clickbank products but a range of other products as well.

in terms of finding something not too competitive you would need to decide on the keywords that you wanted to target and then review the competition for each of these keywords. i still tend to use market samurai to do most of this kind of work for me.

Research your niche and your keyword(s). You don't want to jump into a niche with immense amounts of competition as a beginner.
 
You can also look at ebay for good niches. Just look through the current/most popular searches. That gives you an idea of products that are in high demand.
 
eBay also has a "labs" page with six tools that are currently under development. Two of these are pretty good at digging through the things buyers are actually searching for on their site. Here's a link:

in all honesty i only have a few affiliate marketing websites that don't make me a huge amount of money

mostly i do contract seo work for clients but i play around with this in my spare time. these are just some of the sites/tools that i have come across in my travels that might help you
 
Personally for me, I use ClickBank (more for checking wether it is a buying Market to a particular Niche), Amazon and Ezine Articles.

I get a lot of my Niche Ideas from Ezine Articles because they break down the Niches into Sub Niches for you too.

Usually after I get a particular Niche that I would like to get into, I will do my Keyword Research which ends up with more Niche Ideas because it shows you the other Sub Niches and Niches relevant to what I am searching for. An example would be if I were searching for Apple Tree, what would appear when I Generate Keyword Ideas would e Cherry Tree. That would give me an Idea of more Niches within my Niche to tap into. This is talking from my Experience for a while doing this now.
 
I like to go down to the local news stand or book store and look at the magazines that catch my eye. Then go through it looking at the ads. Always come away with a lot of niche ideas and what is most likely selling.
 
If you are an Amazon Affiliate, choose products that are over $100 but stay away from the Electronics stuff. They do not convert well, simply because people prefer to buy them locally.

Also, choose products on Amazon that have at least 25 reviews from actual users. That will give you an indication as to whether or not people are actually buying it (ie: viable market).
