I have a friend. She's intelligent, she's focused and willing to work. I wanna help her make some money online. She can write articles, among other things.

She was offering her services on Upwork when I met her, I also told her to try out Postloop and iWriter. On the first you get paid to post comments on forums, on the latter you get paid to write articles. I also had her register on Humanatic, where you review phone calls and earn.

And I got her set up with Fiverr, had her create the full 7 gigs she's allowed on a new Fiverr account. She made 2 article writing gigs. And I also did a little magic with her there and had her create 4 social media marketing services gigs, and one gig selling recipes. Social media marketing I'll handle any orders, the recipes we downloaded for free (I mean bought) somewhere, so on any order she'll just send the download link to deliver ;)

You know what I'm talking about.

But now she's looking for more sites where she can write articles that accept worldwide members. And I'm not in the business of selling or buying articles, so I can't really help her.

Please let me know of any websites I can tell her to check out where she can earn money by writing articles, or in any other way that's worth it. She's college educated, very smart, very capable.

Thanks

Bhw marketplace?

She's not in a situation where she's looking to supplement her income, she's in a situation where she has no income. She's can't upgrade her account here in order to be able to sell in the Marketplace.

Besides, eventually I'll probably get her to do something else, dropshipping, reselling, some sort of arbitrage.

But right now she needs some work to earn some money, and sites like iWriter and Fiverr are perfect. I'm aware of Fiverr alternatives too, but most aren't really worth making gigs on. I may have her make a few gigs on Fivesquid too, it's a nice site and I had some sales there for what I do.

I'm pretty much looking for more sites like iWriter. And, of course, any other opportunity that might be worth it (so no data entry and clicking on PTC ads and doing microjobs and other petty shit like that).

Well to be honest there are WTB and HAF threads too where she could potentially bid, earn and reinvest the money for a sales thread and as you know a sales thread in bhw have a massive potential.

To respond to WTB and HAF threads or to try and contact people looking to buy or hire someone would require a paid BHW account, right? You're not allowed to do that as a free member, correct?

Yeah, of course, massive potential with a BHW sales thread. But you know, my long term plan with her isn't to have her typing articles and breaking her back to earn. I'll eventually probably hook her up with a website, selling social media services or dropshipping or something like that, and she can earn without breaking a sweat (not literally, but you know what I'm saying). I'm just too busy to get into that now, and she needs to earn some money in the short term and get some experience in how "online" works, and so we're doing iWriter and Fiverr and stuff like that.

I mean, I used to work as a transcriber, and I would sit and type like mad for 8-12+ hours and earn $50-100 bucks. Now I can make a single sale and earn that, without breaking a sweat (again, not literally, I sweat all day long making websites and promoting and delivering orders and and and... but the potential is there and my income is good, better than it ever was when I was working as a transcriber).

Besides, article writing and transcription and translation and even coding, all this shit is limited to how much time you can put into it, unless you start your own company/agency and hire people and all that. When you're selling/reselling products online, there's no limit. And even if you have to hire someone because you can't handle all the work, you don't need to hire a pro writer or a pro transcriber or a pro translator. What, hire someone to do customer support or fulfill orders? Much easier.

Anyway, I've shared this thread with her too. At the end of the day it's up to her what she wants to do.

I'd recommend you spot her the $140 needed to upgrade her account and open a thread here.

Once that is done, she can prepare a list of services built around the content niche and take it from there.

BHW has a lot of customers and she should be able to pay you back in no time.

If you are so much concerned about her and you yourself are able to make enough money for yourself so lending her few bucks shouldn't be a big concern. As @BlogPro mentioned she could always pay you back after a while since you can already sense the potential. Or you could just do that with your own account and let her do the work if you feel confident enough about her work. Money you spend for Jr.VIP will eventually ve made back within no time.

There is absolutely no reason (and I mean none) to have to pay in order to sell content creation! Not with the demand that is out there! With that being said, I've been writing for 8 or 9 years now, on and off. The demand is there, more than EVER before. Google's AI is making sure of that

One of the BEST places for her to start out would be TextBroker. It's a great spot, and a safe place for a new writer. May not pay as much for content as a private client, *but* it is a great place to pound out a few thousand words if she has a bill quickly approaching. She can come and go on that site, using it to fill in slow weeks or prepping for holidays/big investments. I still use it myself; just to fill in when my websites slack for the month.

She also needs to put up classified ads, you can find a ton of gigs that way. Hell, she could write student essays for a pretty penny.

Spot the girl the cost of a domain, and tell her to pump out a blog post EVERY day, on her own little Blogger blog. If she's not clocked in at an on-site job and she's not filling orders, she needs to be investing in herself.

And, she should NEVER release the content until payment is in her account, make sure she knows that. I've refused any client who couldn't play by my rules, and I always had plenty of clients when I wanted them.

Her goal is to have a few long-term clients, not a bunch of one time orders. She will fare far better! Once she latches on to a few, she will have consistent work. I've had client relationships last for years; many ended when I moved on to other ventures, as writing isn't something you want to do for years on end full time. It simply isn't.

Oh and, tell her to start learning photography. I don't care what type of phone or camera she has; just to do it. Self taught professional photographer here! I sell microstock rather than book families. Whe you bring together amazing content and incredible unique images, sprinkle it with a little keyword research and some engaging questions... You have the foundations of an unstoppable blog.

Maybe this was actually helpful for you and her, and I wish her the best. If you have questions, just PM.
