After reading all 36 pages of 7878's method, there were no 'solid' answers to the problem I am facing -- I can't find more than a few businesses with bad ratings on Google. Yeah, there are some Yelp ones, but I want to avoid them for the start because of the difficulty to keep legit reviews on there, etc.

So, here I am, asking how do YOU find so many businesses to make ORM possible? I ran a Places Scout search today in one large city by me and got 350 results based on about 6 niches... and only ONE, yes ONE, business had a 2.9 rating. Out of the 349 businesses, there were probably only 15-20 total businesses that even had reviews.

Now I realize you could market to these businesses that have no reviews, but it makes it much much harder because you can't "pain them" with the bad reviews -- you have nothing to truly convince them that this is what their business needs.

    Any ideas would be great!

P.S. - Regardless, I sent out 37 letters today, dice and all, to local businesses around me that had no Owner Verified Google Places. Basically drew on the Google Search printoff that they NEEDED to be above their competitors in the Places ranking. We'll see how it goes :)
