If check-host.net says the site is up, why would I still need HostTracker or UptimeRobot? What extra do they show? For basic uptime check just use check-host.net .
If you need more details like DNS, SSL, response time - check hosttracker or uptimerobot.
If you need domain info just use who.is or google "Domain name information lookup" and go to any site.
They all do the job.
Like sometimes website isn't workung, but email with the same domains is. Sp what's confusing for meBy working, you mean still active? You don't need any fancy tool. Just try visiting the domain name to see if it resolves. Obviously, if a website or landing page loads, it's active. If it's not linked to any web page or has expired, then you'll likely see a time out message
You can check the active status of a domain name (registered or not, expiration date) using a WHOIS tool: WHOIS.com, DomainTools, GoDaddy: Check details such as registration date, expiration date, owner, and DNS.Which tool is more reliable?
With a domain, you can have a separate DNS record for the website (called an A record) and email (called the MX record) so the email may be working even if the website isn't. I'll just suggest you use a DNS lookup tool like MXToolbox or WhatsMyDNS to check both of themLike sometimes website isn't workung, but email with the same domains is. Sp what's confusing for me
