    Sup fellas.

I'm designing one of my sites, and need some decent high res images.

Where is the best place to buy them?

Must be 100% legal and 100% royalty free. (I don't want some shmuck trying to sue me later down the road.)

It will be a paid product/website and don't want trouble.

    :p

    I've been checking out bigstockphoto.com/

Can anyone offer any advice or recommendations?

    Thanks

I use fotolia. It works by credits, but you can buy as little as $12 worth of credits, and I get some photos for less than $1. I purchase smaller sizes and re-size them as needed after purchase.

Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Featured_pictures. These are all amazingly high quality and high res pictures.

If you want them to be royalty free, click on the image and check that it is in the public domain. Some will also be under Creative Commons 3.0 which means you can use it but you need to give credit to the author.

I'm also using fotolia.com that is pretty nice. Have a good search engine and a lot of high resolution pictures.
