Where to buy domains?!

Godaddy is better and lesser fees while renewals too where others charge high fees on renewal

Ok so good news! Abuse department just contacted me and allowed me to transfer the domain so I did that. Hopefully namecheap don't mind

GoDaddy does mind, at least with hosting. I have one site that sells something illegal in the US but I have WHOIS privacy on.

An authority site contacted GoDaddy about my site hurting their business and so. They immediately cancelled hosting the site making me lose my web design so I had to go to an offshore hosting to get my site up.

Btw, I used the unlimited hosting package which made me believe GoDaddy won't fight for my case even if I explained since I'm somewhat on the low end. If I'm a big customer, I believe it would be a different story.

Anyway, just to keep you informed, they DO mind.

Did you read it? If yes, then why are you quoting everyone else instead of suggesting a solution? If you don't have any suggestion then stfu and read what everyone has suggested. You would have seen my first reply only if you had gone through the thread carefully, which you didn't and quoted my second reply which was a reply to someone else. 0_0

Sorry mate, your reply got sandwiched between the useless posts of two people which was why your post got mistakenly included.

No solution needed on my reply though since OP already had taken an action and hence my first reply that the registrars do mind about his site.

None will protect you against DMCA complaints, but transfering it will buy you some time. I'd vote for Namecheap too.

What you are talking about is ultimately horse's egg.. lol... There's no such register who can ignore everything... Domain records are maintained by ICANN and no one can rule them out...

^^ lol all those answers , i think you need a DMCA ignored registrar.
but that is impossible because major extensions like .com are owned by icann and they can delete your domain anytime.

but most people will file a dmca with registrar instead of icann , i heard that http://www.rebel.com/ is good in these cases.

^^ This

If one registrar has already nuked your site because of DMCA then i'll put money on you having problems in the future.

Only sure fire way to avoid it is choose a host who doesn't care and will ignore DMCA.

Don't the guys behind TPB run a host specifically for this? If I was gonna trust anyone with my privacy it would be them, they'd rather set fire to the server farm than give your details away lol!

Buy domain from Godaddy they are really good. Use this "cjcrmn199" coupon. it will give you .COM domain for only $2.17(total Cost)

Note: im not affiliated or related to godaddy. few days ago i used this coupon for my new domain. Use that ASAP coz its expire date is 07/07/2014.

ok , i got a good idea.

move your domain to name cheap then 301 it to a .se domain from http://www.binero.se/

thepiratebay.se is registered with them.
also add a dmca / contact page in your site.

I have always used Godaddy. You do need to look around for some vouchers but generally speaking they work out to be the same price as most the competition and have the better support to back them up.

If ur domain name infringes a trademark, i don`t think there is a registrar that could satisfy ur needs.

Hey guys! So yesterday best earning PPD niche I had with domain from internet.bs was suspended by them! This is the first time I've seen domain registrar suspend a domain.
So basically I wanted to ask if anyone knows which domain registrar is the way to go if I dont want to get suspended again. Basically who cares the least.

Namesilo could also work. Its the cheapest and has free privacy too.

Namecheap with Free WhoisGuard (For Privacy) is my advice to you. You can also get a discounted price when using coupons, just google it.

for prices, I've always experienced godaddy as the cheapest. I've bought a new one dollar domain from them. Also, always google promo codes and get a promo code if it already isn't on sale.

Our company owns somewhere around 100,000 domains. We do business with almost every registrar. I can tell you that we end up transferring everything over to Go Daddy. This is for a few reasons.

1. Their support isn't perfect, but it's better than most.
2. Their DNS is hands down the best. People can point out that they went down and they did, once. They handle close to 50% of the webs DNS and have managed to go down only once. Crazy.
3. Pricing is almost always at cost. Keep in mind that registrars pay Verisign $8.03 for most domains. EVERY registrar pays this. NOBODY gets them for less. If somebody sells domains for a lower cost it's as a loss leader hoping to pull business and profit from you in other ways.
4. Their domain management system is the best and in some ways the only one that will support a very large portfolio.

Just my 2 cents as somebody that deals with lots and lots of domains.
