Where to buy domain names?

Hello all,

In the past when I tried buying a domain name and transferring it to someone else in under 60 days it never let me... Where can I go and do that without having to wait for up to 60 days to transfer a domain to another registrar? Thanks!

I use Namecheap a lot and have had no problems. I have had someone transfer a domain to me the day they bought it too so there's no wait times.

I also use Dynadot a lot but I don't know if they make you wait to transfer domains.

I believe them to be a godaddy reseller after I did some investigation. They charge slightyly more or less depending but well worth the stress free. Godaddy once to me 3 hours on a T3 (university) really fast connection just to register a single domain. That's how crappy their site, server, etc.

Then they called me on fraud and ran an investigation because I lied on my domain registration so they wouldn't spam me. They forced me to send a copy of my license to prove my identity or lose the domain. WTF.

GoDaddy also steals domains when your searching and buys them for two years... They try to extort money from you so if you buy from them do it within 24 hours or say goodbye to the domain you seaerched.

Although FX may be a reseller their site is really fast and I usually check out in under 5min hassle free.
