where to buy a clean PR8 web site?

There are some available, and even ones that have great backlink profiles, but they're rare, and every now and then a pr6/7 will drop, however pr8's are really hard to come by.
About 2000 for a pr7 is normal and 5000-10000 for a pr8 with a decent backlink profile, I got this average from looking at expired domain auctions and pre-release auctions, so this is what you'd likely pay in a private auction, figures for public auctions at like godaddy will be way higher.

Yesterday I bought 6 domains - 2x PR5, 3x PR4, and 1x PR3.
They were dropped domains, and I paid just the registration fee.
They all have plenty of GOV & EDU links, and both the 5's have lots of newspaper links.
However - I did NOT buy them for the PR! I bought them because PA/DA was great (and hadn't been blasted up), and the TF/CF ratio was awesome - each has trust flow over 20, and in most cases the CF was less than the TF.
To those people who say you can't find good dropped domains - I say; stop whinging, and get to work looking for them.

What tools did you use to find them?
I use expireddomains, and I haven't seen a single dropped domain above pr2 that was legit.
If you mean domains that you can backorder, well every auction for a pr3 they got sold for 100-200.
