Hello All!

I am new here. My name is Lee. I am also new to the world of affiliate marketing! I have the general knowledge of what affiliate marketing is, and how it works. Like, what niche to fill, how to become an affiliate, and all that junk. I also have general website programming skills. I already own my domains, and have a hosting service I can go through. My main issue currently, is finding good resources, for a reasonable amount of money that can teach me where to go from here. Essentially, the process on how to do it. My grandmother recently got slapped with an outlandish funeral bill from the death of my papa, and I'm trying to find a faster way to make income that I can give to her, since my day job and photography business barely pays my own bills. haha I would appreciate any help greatly. I learn quick and can adapt fast. Also willing to go flat broke for a bit if it means I can alleviate that stress. (And possibly leave my own job to do this fulltime as I see the potential)

I have little bit idea, if you have any product of yours you can start with Amazon affiliate. You can check BHW Making Money section you will get the right info.

I refer tutorials from Udmey to learn about recent trends in the affiliate industry as well as the new methods to promote my program. You can also refer to top affiliate forums and clear your queries in case you face any. Last but not the least, Google can be your best friend to search out good blogs and articles that will help you in the affiliate journey.

Along with courses on BHW, Udemy, etc., I find it helpful to look at successful affiliates and try to reverse engineer their business model. Simply search a niche, for example "how to loose weight when married" and observe how the top blogs build content and link to their products.

I would honestly start off reading some books on Internet Marketing

Some I can recommend (only print published books)

B2B Digital Marketing: Using the Web to Market Directly to Businesses
Book by Michael Miller
- Gives you a general explanation of marketing and how it can be applied to other businesses. Great content from a decent author. Little more on the B2B side but still very relevant

Ultimate Guide to Instagram for Business
Book by Kim Walsh Phillips
- Great reference and inside look of how a business can be run off of marketing and social media platform "insight".

I always like to read established literature from print publishers as they provide a professional and detailed explanation. And have little bias involved with them.

All I can say is read!

1.Read some guides About IM
2.Choose a niche & a product
3. Until you learn about it.. i will suggest to start as an affiliate and promote through social media for free.
Sure you will find your way if you work smart :)

Read and improve, Amazon affiliate is good, you can start from there. Finding the correct and beneficial Niche is very important.

What niches are you interested in?
Currently, mostly interested in promoting audio gear. Like good headphones I've gotten to use, Audio Interfaces, Mixers, those things. But all the ones I would have been reviewed to death so I've hit a wall on what niche to fill.
