Man I use this to index all my new posts.

Why the hell has it been disabled since October? How do we index new posts on a blog now?

How do you index? If you have sibmited sitemap, google will automatically crawl your page when it decides to :D

I just give them a sitemap and then just publish, my new sites without backlinks indexing the posts withing 24 hours. Dont see a reason why you would need this tool

Interlink them directly from the homepage and submit sitemap with homepage having 100 priority and fast refresh rate.

If your domain has high enough authority it shouldn't be an issue. I didn't realize people relied on that button.

I build backlinks to every blog post, and that obviously makes them index quick.

Google said it would only take couple of weeks, it's taking months, fixing it must be a pain in their developers ass

I wasn't aware you could set priorities or refresh rates, I just use SEO plugin to handle the sitemaps,

Aye, I use to get 5 minute indexing, it's now been 4 days and nothings getting indexed, it's ridiculous... I don't want to build any backlinks until I know they can rank, so I need to wait for indexing first.

Did you sudd wake up, and now it gets automatically index in a days time no need to do anything except maintain good blog structure

Pffff "automatically indexed" Yeah right... Google are so trash at indexing it's unreal, the manual indexing button was the best thing they ever created for indexing, and now it's destroyed.

In googles words, it's been "temporarily" disabled. Which means possibly a few more days to go, or years...

The guys at Income School said in one of their videos that Google is working on some new feature related to indexing only a part of the websites (to use as snippets). I don't know much either but they said that Google has disabled the Request Indexing option for that new feature.

No need that. create a good site structure and interlink properly and also send sitemap with top priority. Post will index within a minutes.

about Google, yeah don't care that shit! they still planning about this, but the funny part is they have plenty of time to create and send core updates by updates. lol

Mate I am also facing the same issue but now I figured out a way. I interlink those posts from old posts with some backlinks. Once Google recrawls those pages new ones always get indexed. Another way is to post articles in a specific interval everytime. That ways G bots visit get to know the interval and visit the site after that interval but keeping the time period between two posts constant is really important. Hope it helps :)

I've been having a hell of a time getting anything indexed on Google, but my site is only 3 months old - could that be a factor?

Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo all seem fine, but Google is basically not indexing my site and I've even had pages disappear even though GSC says they are indexed.

All content is original, wouldn't say I'm king shit of writing but it certainly looks better to my eye than my competitors.
