Where the heck is Sartre?

I'm also really wondering what's happening with him, as I really need to get in touch with him.

I have tried contacting every single email I could find for Sartre and his company (and their offices), but haven't gotten a single reply from any of them.
If he was hacked surely it wouldn't be that difficult to communicate what had happened through other methods/accounts. There must be something else going on...
There might be another explanation for this too, but my opinion may be biased, since it is no secret I do not support AI blogs at all (though I have an utmost respect for Sartre's knowledge and ability in the field, and also J.P. Sartre is one of my favorite writers).

The truth is that I know the URL of the biggest website of Sartre on Mediavine, the one he used to post screenshots from here on BHW (those $20K/month screenshots, that originally got him all the attention). This AI website has taken a very serious beating in latest Google updates... * Please do not ask me for the url of that site, I will not share it.

Then, about 6 months ago, Sartre had this service on ("I build you an AI website and if it doesn't get into Mediavine within 6 months, I'll refund your money". The service cost $10K, for sure many of you remember it, and not a small number of people ordered it too, no doubt, due to his reputation here.
He said the spots were limited to ten sites, but who knows how many this $10K/piece sites he actually sold??

Now the 6 months have passed. I doubt any of those websites actually got to Mediavine.
The day has come for the refunds to be paid. With everything going on for him, and things turning rather red on several ends, he may have simply decided to quit his activity here and cash out, and is perfectly fine & healthy and enjoying his new life in Portugal ;).

For someone with a skill set like him, and he himself famously saying on his thread "fake it until you make it" it would be super easy for him to disappear. The compromising of the account may be just a trick too, or even something he let someone do on purpose, as a part of the play...

In such a case, there won't be any refunds on that $10K/website service, but at least he would be perfectly fine, and healthy, which I hope he is, especially because I faced threats of kidnapping and other terrible things due to my activity here as well, and it is something I would not wish anyone else to experience...

He could have got Sim swapped if there are cell phone problems.

This would also explain his overall radio silence and bhw hack. A sim swap could take control of pretty much all of his online accounts within a couple of hours and could be done whilst he was asleep.

i'm in a private group with a handfull people where he used to be almost daily. ever since the compromise he hasn't been around (actually a few days before).
a real life friend of his also said his phone is off. he is totally MIA nobody knows anything. i just hope he is alright.
how long has he gone MIA?

What about reaching out to Lambdainvestments.com, the investment group he is part of?
The site has been updated recently. It no longer has his physical address. Come to think of it, if anybody wanted to track him down, they could easily do that with the information on that website. I'm really starting to fear for the guy.

That's on what I my assumption based on, this is not normal behavior of someone who got simply hacked, period.

last he wrote in our group was 04/22/2023 1:48 PM
and normally he's been there almost daily.
that is arround 2 week already, hope he just go camping and enjoy nature
well, do you have his social media try ask real friend or family

like i mentioned before in this thread a friend of his tried to call him but his phone is off, he also tried other ways to contact, but no answer :(

I've been wanting to say this but didn't do it out of respect for what he was or seemed to be.
There's a good chance of this being an exit scam. Although I do hope he comes back and prove this assumption wrong.

So everyone close to him can't get in contact with him. Seems his entire arsenal (phone, email, etc) has all been compromised. He's made zero attempts to reach out to anyone. If I were a detective I would be thinking about 3 scenarios right now to be blunt:
1. He's run. Seems like he might be coming up on some pretty big bills.
2. He's been murdered/kidnapped or died of a natural cause (i really hope that isnt the case!)
3. He's been arrested

edit: It's all speculation ofc

There can be many scenarios but something is off the charts.

First of all Sartre, in my personal opinion he's not the average guy who get's hacked, he know his stuff and surely have all sort of authentications and this is what scares me.

Also, he's not the type who comes here to build a trustable profile to scam some people with a marketplace sales thread like some examples we have seem around here over the years.

I really believe he must had offline backups and someone tracked him down and he got him kidnapped or some shit and someone it's impersonating him to "keep it normal" (what did not work because people know how he talks and he have his own behavior that canot be replicated) while it gives him/them time. Time they need to actually get access to his backups, bank data, authorizations, things that have a process and take time to actually have access on.

All this of having the phone off and all that, it's not normal at all. If he got just hacked he already contacted a friend to let at least bhw know his fine.

I hope this guy's alright, for r

This is perfectly logical. I bought one of those black friday sites and it was a dud. The site basically gets zero clicks. He promised to build another one and gave me access to his AI app. The app doesn't work. Now, I'm left with a useless site and Sartre has disappeared when refunds are due.

Actually had no idea on those feedbacks but if that's the case it's probably a cash out yes.

before this turns into a shit show, we all can just speculate now and while already some time passed, 2 weeks still isn't that long to conclude anything.
so please wait a bit longer before making assumptions and spread theories. at least for now... you can still do that if he really doesn't show up anymore in a month or so...
i totally understand and we also had discussions about what could have happened, but that was in private so putting it out in public is a different story.
at least have a bit more patience and give him the benefit of the doubt.

It's a damn strange set of events. It seems odd that he has been compromised, but as others have said elsewhere, it could be as simple as a stolen phone or laptop.

I actually have an ongoing transaction with Sartre. He stopped replying to my messages on Skype since 19th of April. What he delivered wasn't what he promised, and he was in the process of building me another site. He also gave me access to his AI app, but it didn't work.

Something is seriously fishy, and I think someone claiming to be Sartre has taken many on this platform for a fool. My thesis is that the guy we all know as Sartre is not around anymore and someone is impersonating him.

I say this because on several occasions, he won't remember our last conversation on Skype. He also won't use PayPal to accept payment. When he stopped responding and I checked his website, I discovered that the physical address wasn't there anymore.

I'm tempted to believe that the real Sartre won't fritter away the goodwill he has built on this and many other platforms over the years by ghosting his customers. It's either the guy is incapacitated and someone is pretending to be him, or something really sinister is going on and he isn't who he claimed to be. I want to believe the former.

I'm also in the same boat. I bought his software and also got a domain from him. The domain came from a Namecheap account with his real name. He also logged on to his Github account (with a username he's known to have on Reddit) from my server when setting up the server, so I'm sure I dealt with the real Sartre. Also, the payment I made was done to Lambda Investments. Unfortunately I've had an error on the software since April 28, but he stopped responding to me April 26, so I haven't been able to fix it since... I would be extremely sad and angry if I have wasted all those funds.

Does anyone know his phone number? @RealDaddy

You can find some phone numbers when looking at his company sites. I didn't try calling them yet though.

Does anyone know his real name?
I think his first name is Jacob.

Just check swiftgrowth.com and you'll see it.

I hope this guy's alright, for real.

Yeah, I also don't believe hacking is the case. The way I see it there are 3 options: Personal disaster/arrested, kidnapped, or exit scam...

What about reaching out to Lambdainvestments.com, the investment group he is part of?

I sent them email to all the email account I could find. No response yet.

But this is a guy who has plenty of sites, right? One site shouldn't make that big of a dent in his income?
In regards to his Mediavine deal, here's what he said in an email I received from his personal site: "
I'm proud to report that 7 out of 10 clients from the Black Friday 2022 promotion are now part of Mediavine! I stand by my work and have refunded clients who didn't achieve their desired results. Proof of both success stories and refunds is available upon request."

When he was setting up the software on my server, he was also sending me various screenshots of the software on his own server to show me what some future updates would be. In one of the screenshots there was also a income overview integrated in his software. All I'll say is that if that screenshot and those numbers are correct, he's still earning huge amounts of money.

I really hope this isn't an exit scam, as I really looked at him as a trusted member here, and he seemed very upright in his communication with him up until he suddenly stopped responding.

I spoke to another person on this forum though, and he is certain it's an exit scam. He says Sartre owes him a huge refund but he didn't want to pay it.

I have also reached out to someone I think is his business partner on LinkedIn, but I haven't gotten a response yet.

I hope he recovers the account with the help of bhw support
Guy was giving out so much value

If it would be exit scam, would you tell publicly to move to Portugal? For me it is strange to move there although I am from Europe, can only imagine to move there if it would be my origin
