I am hired as a digital marketing intern for a job listing and recruiting website. Based on my performance in 3 months, they will extend to a full-time job. What strategies should I suggest or adopt and to drive more organic traffic to the website. I may also hire a couple of paid marketing services.

This entire website is your answer. You gotta be more specific IMO. Otherwise the answer will be just as generic.
Let's say I want to buy backlinks. Any suggestions on whose services are the best and do they really drive in relevant traffic and do people really get conversions or organic traffic only?

a digital marketing analyst is not a seo expert
what is it that they want from you? is it really increasing organic traffic as you have mentioned or something else?
- increase website traffic?
- improve conversion rate?
- improve user journey on the site?
- improve user engagement?
- create new content?
if i was going to decide on extending full time employment to you, i would base it on you adding value, how well you work with others, and how well can you articulate business problems, and come up with suggestions. the whole story telling is going make or break you.

The role is more like an SEO and Social Media Analyst and yeah, they expect me to pass on some suggestions and I have a few prepared but I think I will share after the first month.
