Where is your company located?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering in general where people have there companies located?
I have a few online businesses which I would like to consolidate into a company but my country of residence the tax rate is quite high and company registration / on going costs are high.

I was wondering what other people who run online companies do to minimize tax and fees.

That is one complicated topic. I cant help, but i can say its comllicated.

No matter how you look at it its gonna cost money, time and energy, and the end result is a premature heart attack.

It will depend on many factors: what do you sell (digital goods/services or not), how much revenues you generate (so some setups will be excluded because of the cost), are you able to travel or not, where are you personally based too (because you could have better optimizations between certain countries with the corporate taxes/personal income taxes), could you consider changing your tax residency, etc.

My advice if you have some budget, talk to an international tax advisor. In the past, I was reluctant to do so but it worth it.
If you cannot have the budget, avoid optimizing now and scale your companies. Then, you can consider thinking about tax optimization. As Scorpion Ghost said, you will have any heart issue and you will sleep at night.

PS: My companies are in a EU country with low taxation (10%), I also changed my tax residency.

yes, totally agree with your post. OP, Don’t consider ‚just incorporating in tax heaven’ as it’s not as simple as it can look. Tax advisor is an ‚Must Have’ tbh.

Our LLCs are run out of the United States, particularly Arkansas. They have a 2011 law that makes all members confidential to the general public (so nobody can see who owns it), and you can file online instead of mailing it in. Low incorporation fees, too. We're 25+ LLCs in and counting, never had an issue.
