Where is the craigslist forum?

oh well, the forum was 99% rank newbies asking the same question(s) over and over, most of them never bothering to search..

Yup, the move has fortunately changed that. If you're into CL you'll make the $97 for an upgrade in no time.

Sorry to say this but anybody who is just trying to game CL all day is not a real blackhatter or a real marketer. There are plenty of other ways to make real money and have complete control of it.

Yeah but, CL is another piece of the puzzle. Some people bank on it, so when valuable information is gone, it effects us.

Depends on your biz model. CL is where the target market is for some products and services. Like real estate leads for example.

From what I've learned in the last 2 years on here, its worth the price. But I'm going to go full throttle now!

I don't mind if it was moved - and would be willing to pay if more experienced people participated.

ahh.. but not everyone just spams CL for affiliate and cpa stuff.

I fell into posting for some local businesses.. my main competitor has over 1000 clients.. each paying $399 a month. Fuck 'real marketing' - that's still some real money :D . And with automation, it's not time consuming.

You are correct about the control thing - it's never good to have all your eggs in someone elses basket.

I think it great that this section is in the "cloud" now. If you ask me a LOT more sections should also be in the "cloud".

Contribute the the forum, stop complaining and get the fuck back to work ;-)

Why anyone would spend money to become vip when some, not all, mods here ban people at the drop of a hat? I'm not about to waste a dollar much less 97 just to have someone ban me a week later because I said something they didn't like.

Yes the cl section here was useful, mostly for when sweeps happen or big changes to know whether it's just me or wide spread. That said this wasn't the only blackhat forum on the net with an open cl forum so I'm sure most users will just find another one. Between mail and cl I'm interested to see just how much traffic this place loses due to it's actions.
dont break the rules and you wont be banned, mods dont ban ppl for no reason ;)

would be somewhat pointless to put it in the vip, im sure craig has spies all over the place. Only private invite forums are really only reliable.

I really think this is part of the backlash from the whole Tommy/craigslist thing that happened. Not even those forward phone line vendors (UltimateSEO and Fortunate) seem to be around, along with their website.

I htink there migh be a very simple solution..

make it members only, and just use CL's own weapon: the ToS and agreeing to damages.

The TOS should state something along the lines that user agrees that they are not employees or agents of any online classifieds site, and agrees to a $1000 per violation fine (ie, everytime they visit the site)..

The whole site should be for paying members. I'm new here, but not to the game. I'll pay for valuable info when I see it. Keeps the noise level down.

Well said my friend. The only reason you would be worried about getting banned is if you do or say something that you KNOW you're not supposed to be doing or saying. Be respectful to others and help out where you can. Don't bad mouth people or share stuff that you're not supposed to, and you'll be fine. The rules are simple. :D

I think everyone is missing the big picture here. It is strange that such a change would be done unannounced yet everyone here is trying to find culprits or scapegoats as to why the CL thread was removed (completely?). Cl is on the move so people have to be a step ahead if they wish to be part of the CL game and lately, CL has been on the prowl

Anyway, after reading all threads here, I have not read anything confirming or denying that CL is in the paid section now. Until this is confirmed, I don't think there's anything that could be done with CL on this forum.

Usually, when a popular free thread will become a paying thread just like anything else, theres a little advertising. So a sudden removal without any explanation as far as I know, implies a legal action. I hope not,
but thats my guess.

That's what I'm implying from pieces of information I've gathered in the past week. Since we don't know the whereabouts of the CL thread, I think this thread should be closed because the last thing we want is for wondering minds to start rumors...

what's the point?

you don't think craigslist employees will pay some change to view all the high member discussions?

lol...

If you think cl won't spend 97 bux to see the info you are wrong lol...

I think its more likely that bhw just want more paid members and since the cl section was very popular they locked it to essentially bribe people into upgrading.

Anyway, good that its not public, but no, I won't be upgrading on these terms.

Your loss, SSMonkey. Now you will not know the latest and greatest, etc etc. How else can you possibly find this stuff out?

/sarcasm

Someone is still in the 80s and 90s where people had to buy books for knowledge.

The amount of money it costs is not the point, it's the point that ALL the info there can be found elsewhere for free so why would I bother? Some like to waste money and that's fine, me I grew up around a millionaire that was so cheap he'd take 2-ply toilet paper apart to make 2 rolls so needless to say I don't waste money on stupid shit no matter how much money I have. You don't end up a millionaire by blowing money just because you have it, even though most here seem to think it does. Investing it wisely and keeping operating costs as low as possible on the other hand does.

I'm done with this thread and forum really since there's not much left here for me. But it was useful while it lasted.

Whaaa whaaa fucking whaaa. I don't care how your millionaire buddy did it, but if you are not willing to spend minimal money on something which will help grow your business, then you shouldn't be in business at all. Don't let the door hit you in the ass. I'm tired of cry babies.
