I would like to suggest you that before going for any cheap hosting provider always do a good research and find customer's reviews. Since in web hosting price of the service really matter, specially if you are looking for VPS or dedicated server.

I have been using hostforlife.eu for around 2 years. I am happy with their price and their quality. I can not say they are cheap or the best. But, I am happy with their support. Also, when you get one hosting package with them, you can host many websites on the same package without paying more money to them. So, you can easily test your ideas on the same package.

Another thing i want to mention is, if you go for cheap hosting then be prepared to sacrifice the quality of the service. Inorder to provide cheap server, the hosting company will provision multiple servers in same node which will affect your servers performance.

Hostwinds is the best cheap hosting option, well for me at least (yeah its in my signature) dont use goddady they are awful. I switched from godaddy to hostwinds recently and my site speed alone improved ten fold.
