Where do youtube view providers get their views from?

I'm trying to promote some videos for a client. He wants a lot of views quickly in order to appear in the youtube top lists. I see lots of people offering views packages i.e. 50,000 views for $60, etc.
I'm curious to know where they get them? It seems bots don't work anymore, and buying popup/popunder or ad.fly type traffic won't work because the user needs to manually click the play button for the view to 'count'.
Any ideas?

Thanks,

Robert

They buy cheap traffic (usually adult traffic), which are about $2 per 1000 or less. So basicly the views are worthless, but it can improve your raking for certain keywords in YouTube searches, which delivers you real (relevant) views.

I'd be cautious buying views from anyone for the moment. I can speak from recent experience that many of the providers can't follow through due to the YouTube algo change. Keep an eye on this forum and, though, and see which services are recentlyhighly reviewed. They're your best bet. Also, there are free tools available here that you can investigate. Many of them are having trouble at the moment, though, as well. I'd save the money for the time being (or spend it on methods to actually drive legit views to your videos). In the meantime, if you uncover someone who can actually deliver a sh*&load of views real fast...let us know!

Just an update to my (older) thread in case anyone has similar needs. I found a supplier for my clients that I've been having good success with...if you google fast video views, they come up first (nice site too).

Thanks. I haven't tried them because I need views a lot faster that I can get from using them. I think I'm going to keep using the above guys unless I start having problems with them.

The method I deliver views to customers is a private method. It isn't any of that earn credits type of sites. I actually have to pay an individual to deliver the views. I barely make any profit but it still works. My connections can deliver massive amounts of views up to 300K with in 24 hour the views show up on your video. Its a very nice system but its quite expensive. $5 for every 1K views you want.

They use youtube bots...such as optimizet, tube blaster pro and etc...

Allot of people use a service called "Viewet" which is a credit based system to sell there views.
