This is the most common question which have been asked for decades by employers and I personally think the question is stupid (no offence). Even if you ask Bill Gates, Warrent Buffet, Jack Ma I dont think they think about that. I care what I'm gonna eat tonight.

Personally I don't follow Bill Gates, Warrent Buffet etc.
My biggest inspirations are hardcore dedicated enrepreneurs like Elon Musks who heavily believes in mindset and planning for the future.
Personally, I believe Elon Musk has way more success than all three of those entreprenurs, not in wealth but in expertise and for those reaons exactly.
But I mean that's fair, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Agree with this as well. I don't like to plan too far ahead because you just never know what challenges are around the corner. If my position is the same or better as it is today, I would be happy. But the truth is I have absolutely no idea what will be in 5 years time.

If you would ask yourself 5 years ago, where do you see yourself in 5 years, would you be satisfied with the outcome?
I think its very hard to make a plan for the future. We live in a world which is working super fast. There are unlimited resources when it comes to the internet and IM. Right now Instagram etc. are working well, but maybe there are other big new things coming within the next 5 years. it depends how good we can adopt to new things.

unemployed because Instagram will be dead by then and the social media company i work with will close its doors and i ll have to look for another domain of work

Exactly. I think the best way is to not envision the processes, but what you want the end goal to look like. FInancially independent is often a good one, and you work backwards from there. As they say, you can afford anything, but you can't afford anything. Have to be targeted and focused.
