Where do you keep your money?

Many recommend investing in gold, while the gold price has continuously increased for the past 40 years or so, what if a new discovery of plenty of gold arises (I mean something huge)? The gold price may fall down.

If you are worried you would need cash in a hurry put a set amount in two or three banks, probably one of them being offshore. If you are wanting to hedge against inflation buy US real estate. Skip buying properties and invest in someone's private fund, the shares are as easy to sell as stocks, but valued based on the underlying real estate and give you all the advantages of investing in real estate.
 
i spread my money in 3 banks...

and i always keep a minimum bal of 5K on my paypal account...
 
Some monkeys keep my money safe in my paypal account. Sometimes the monkeys decide to play with my money without giving them back FOR 6 FU**ING MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
You have multiple choice:

1. Spread to different bank
2. Buy commodities (Good way to learn inside company business and also maintain good inflation rate since commodities are used daily).
3. Invest into some start up business with friend or community (make sure everything is done with paper and legally)
4. Money under your bed (Depend how safe your neighborhood is and how smart you are.)

Business account, personal accounts, under the bed. Don't carry all eggs in one basket.

What you mean, "BlackHat Money"? I don't think making money with IM its illegal. Its totally legal as long as you make them with legal way.
 
+1 for buying gold. Do NOT invest in gold stock because that is meaningless. You need to actually have the gold in your hands and store it away safely somewhere in your home. Everything else is digital or paper and means nothing in the long run because there is no scarcity to it. Gold has real value.

Physical gold is good if the system collapses. Until that point, gold ETFs have much, much lower commissions. Have you ever checked the price of gold bullion vs spot? You lose like 5% just from buying it. No thanks.
 
I like to keep it spread between different banks. I also have most of it invested. Investments, savings, checkings etc is how I like to manage it. I never keep a balance on paypal or any online site.
