Where do you guys host your blog

I was wondering to host my domain within wordpress.com (a blog), but understood I have to upgrade to Business to install any plugins. So now I am thinking of hosting it externally.
any advice on this?

Do not use wordpress.com, get hosting from a platform like Hostinger and install wordpress from your cPanel. From your post, I can see that you're new to this. Personally, I use Digital Ocean with droplets, but this is a bit more advance so I suggest you go with something like Hostinger.
 
Thank you all, and yes I am very new to blogging, let's see how this pans out. I used to host my domain with HostGator before, so I am familiar with their hosting.

If you have one website, go for namecheap but if you have multiple, better get a cloud hosting service.
 
For simple stuff, I prefer using Namecheap.

For bigger and more serious project, I use cloudways managed VPS from digitalocean.
 
I recommend to start with namecheap too, their prices are fair and support is good in most cases.
 
I bought a Domain from them (Namecheap), and now I am looking around (currently looking at HostGator). thinking to g=buy the hosting from Namecheap too. Only thing that holds me back is, I do not want to have both of them on the same vendor. come to think of it, I am just starting off. So dont really know what to do.
 
Namecheap for shared hosting, cheap prices for the first year but pretty slow.
Contabo for vps
 
I’ve been using namecheap. It’s worked good so far and pretty cheap

Has anyone used Linveo? They have great deals but idk if they are any good or not

Go for Droplet (digital ocean) and Next.js, and you'll have the world's fastest blog. I love it! A bit of programming experience is helpful, but not much is needed. You will learning quickly. I will never go back to WordPress again.
