Where do you get your website's code from?

Do you build from scratch, hire programmers or do you use code sold online whether free like wordpress or for a price on codecanyon.
 
That really depends on the type of website you want to build,
If it's something that could be built using a free/cheap CMS (especially WP), then why going for php coded one,
Other than that, hiring someone or coding a website on you're own should be the latest option, ofc for small/medium businesses
For a bigger project, it's better to be coded for more security & functionalities
 
It’s different for everybody I just hired a guy for an Adsense site but for regular sites I do that on my own
 
I use Drupal.
I made my template from scratch based on Bootstrap.
I correct my code myself.
