Where do you get your royalty free images?

Thanks but there is not enough variety there, for instance I just searched for something I need and they have no good options (except the ones above that redirect you to iStock)

Yes, me too. Variety isn't fantastic, but it's not bad for free.
although I did get someone not that long back who complained that they owned the rights to an image that I used from that site!

search public domain keyword on images, its a big help! Anything public domain is legal to use, just have to check and make sure.

- Use Google images
- Click on the Options (wheel icon) on the right top
- Select Advance Search option from the drop-down menu
- Under the Find Pages With... <input your keywords/whatever images you need to see>
- In Usage Rights (last option) Select: Free to use, share or modify, even commercially
- * Select any other option/s on the page according to your needs (not too important)
- Click OK (Advance Search button)
- When the search result page is displayed, click on Images on the top horizontal menu so that images are displayed instead of web details.
- After you select the image, go to the image related webpage by clicking on the Visit Page button, and follow the instructions on that page to use the image which is free to use with Licensing details (attribution required, etc.). Follow them and use the image. It is the minimum you can do for the image provider in return for using a FREE & high-resolution image made available to you by a kind photographer or uploader.

Try www.Photodune.com - dirt cheap and some really good options - like $1-$5 per image, depending on the size.

Then just ask the product maker thru email. I remember I asked @pple for its top line product images to use on my review site, and they actually said I can use them, but I should be careful about everything concerned. I had also asked @maz0n about using the review on their product page, and they too had given me permission in actual sweet words! But that was like 3~4, may be 5 years ago. I don't know if they are regretting about it now, though. lol

I mostly use Pixabay and morguefiles, also someone posted a free promo code for Fotolia.com a while ago, really high quality photos there.

You can find royalty free images on flicker, photorack, freedigitalphotos and even on google using the advanced search option.
