Where Do You Get Your Article Writers?

I can't take it -the world says "pay the writers and do the important things yourself", but my own stuff is of too high a standard to suffer publishing anything I have ever paid for.

I could not do ORIGINAL articles for less than $10 per 500 words. I can rewrite stuff for about half that, and there are a lot of people on mturk who will do the same thing for $2 because they can type faster than me (20 wpm leaves me breathless).

OTOH I find myself writing all my own copy, because I get fed up of writing 6-700 word emails to people telling them exactly why their 500 word work is RUBBISH!

I'm charging $10/article and still getting hell lots of orders. Sometimes, I have to put a few clients on hold as I get too many orders :)

I had very bad experiences with freelancers I hired before..... Although they claim they are "native English" writers, the articles are poor to not good quality, not to mention no to very poor SEO writing skills, even if I gave out detailed requirements and instructions where, how and what keywords to use. very frustrating.

Please do let me know good writers with competitive rates. More orders, more income for them in the long run.

Where are you from?

Higher price is supposed to have higher quality, but not always the case in real life. No, I did not mean your articles as I have no idea about yours. I've seen $5 one is even better than $20 one. Quite a few ebooks selling on CB are actually written by Filipinos. Surprise. Adam Short had a webinar on this. They use Filipinos writers to create ebooks for them, their best kept secret.
 
I get my mine from Elance most of the time. I get bids for like $2 an article but I usually end up with someone charging $8-9 for decent quality.

What are DP and GAF?

I have an English-speaking writer who works for me, she does a great job. I found her on Fiverr, actually!
 
I've found sometimes it's better to buy a random content scraper than to pay for $1-2 articles, which 95% of the time end up being so full of horrible grammar, misspellings, and awkward sentence formation that they're nearly unreadable to an english speaking person. Though there are exceptions to this.
 
Elance for me too I have given up on some of the crap on DP even paying $10+ has given poor results some times.
