Where do you find quality backlinks?

I have been working on a website for a local Hair Salon. I have the on page SEO set up correctly. I have been pretty successful building links but now I cant seem to find anymore? Is it possible to run out of links in a specific niche? I understand that some backlinks aren't good when they come from a completely different category IE: Hair Salon link in a Tech website or forum.

I have messed around with Fiverr simply to see the links the sellers provided, which seemed to be all junk (aka disavow tool). I have done research in to backlinks of other hair salons and barely any have any quality links. I am currently stuck on the bottom of the 1st page or the top of the 2nd, which varies the traffic. When I am on the first page, the salon gets several calls...the 2nd, almost none.

I understand that some people advertise, "I always use high quality backlink!" If this is so, prove it?

I read how one person commented about their website here after they were blasting how they use only High Quality links to get their site to #1. I checked the backlinks of their so called "high quality site"...not a single quality link.

Any thoughts?

When I owned a Local Pet Store, I sold foods from many different manufacturers, most manufacturers have a "Store Locator" and they are trusted. I called/emailed all of them to add me to their store locator. I have to imagine that a Hair Salon sells a bunch of different hair products and accessories you should contact those places to add you to their locator. To be honest, even if you don't stock the product, I would ask them anyhow, they normally have no clue. Just say you get it from "This Distributor" and when someone comes in and ask for it, just order it for them. That's what I did, they don't have to stock it to sell it.

You can build quality web2.0's yourself, build or outsource PBN sites, bribe contributors for links, and "earn" links through schmoozing... there are a million ways. The links on Fiverr typically aren't what I would call "quality" though. Learn a bit more about SEO and then take a spin around the marketplace here on BHW. The BST section here is the best in SEO, bar none.

Yes, it's possible to "run out of links." Or for the effort required in getting new links.... to not be worth the ROI they provide.

You have to look at it this way right. Relevant, quality backlinks are to SEO what platinum is to chemical engineering. Platinum is one of the most valuable elements in the world. It has TONS of uses from catalytic converters to valuable chemicals like chlorine or pharmaceuticals, etc. The problem is, a limited amount is manufactured every year and it's incredibly expensive. So what do engineers do? They invest a lot of time into finding & farming alternatives. Like mixed metal oxides. Instead of farming platinum for chlorine they farm ruthenium oxide now.

SEO isn't any different. You're both a social engineer and a data engineer. You compile or input data, then you need some rare, valuable "catalyst". Something that'll give you tons of leverage / control to both rank and stay ranked for the long term.

When I started out I did my best finding as many quality links as I could. And from day 1 it wasn't easy. My idea of "quality" back then was to manually build out huge web2.0s, upload YT videos, do targeted blog comments, directories.... that's all I really knew back then.

Then I asked myself 1 simple question:

1) How long do I REALLY wanna do this?

And my answer was "if it works how I plan, AS LONG AS POSSIBLE." There's a shitload of money to be made doing what I do (local brokering) in the industries I do (home related). And it's not easy work by any means... but it's profitable, scalable, and I can hopefully do this a loooong time. As soon as I realized this was something I was committed to, and really believed that.... I found the solution automatically.

PBNs were the only reasonable alternative for me. I had to build my own network. And that network had to be done like people will be building networks 10 years from now. So I started farming my alternative source of links. I realized I can manipulate my PBN sites to look just like money sites, I can throw a lot of good content on them, age them like wine.... it gives me SO MUCH CONTROL. And more importantly, although the barrier to entry is higher than what you're doing right now.... the ROI is higher than anything else I know of. If you build and farm yourself a high quality network the RIGHT WAY, you're never gonna have problems ranking again.

The problem I see in your situation is that you're working for SOMEONE ELSE. And you're also working in a terrible industry no offense. There's no way I'd invest all that time & money into a hair salon oriented PBN just to rent out my links for a monthly fee. That's gonna immediately expose my network to the person I'm working for, then the next person.... hair salons in general don't have high profit margins, they have lots of overhead.... so if I DID build a network applying your business model I know ahead of time it's not long term.

Then also the fact that I don't just rank sites. I build complete lead generation funnels. G Locals, fake / real reviews, ranking geo-targeted YT videos, directories, spamming classifieds, social media, etc. I invest all my own money. All this real estate becomes mine. THEN we broker and subcontract work to just a few key players. In 1 industry we monetize the leads directly through our own LLC.

So again, your business model is the problem. That doesn't mean you can't make good money. It just means you're working much harder than you need for less $ than you deserve.

Never for cheap, If you go for cheap then the quality will also be cheap. If you are looking for high quality backlinks then i suggest you to go for guest posts, PBN's. If you have good budget then you can get links from high authority site as well.

Avoid buying bulk links from sites like Fiverr.
Have a quality content and write controversial posts which helps to get quality back links to your site.
Submit your website to local business directories, back links from these sites are regarded by Google as authority.

I purchased backlinks off of Fiverr once just to see if I was missing anything, and they were all junk which were disavowed. I have been absolutely disappointed with Fiverr, but you get what you pay for.
