I dont know on what drugs you are my friend, but statement like yours deserve mental check..
I am from Eu, and most of my fellow djs still buy vinyls (Berlin, London, Paris, Amsterdam etc...)
I think you should not put real djs with fake ass new comers in same basket.
Do your research before posting things like that.

Its just all the ones I know, laugh at the idea of paying for music.
Its always the vinyl vs digital argument in dj'ing world that sets it apart from other industries that prefer modern tech,one of the reason I stopped going to DJ forums.

I really don't get why all the older people want everyone to spend thousands of dollars to be a dj, especially a mobile/wedding dj and that requires almost no skill what so ever.

I know how much effort/time/money is spent for a single track... thats why i support and pay that lousy dollar or two.. its not even coffee at starbucks, but, you finish coffee in 3 minutes, and song stay forever.

Play.com for me. Used to be amazon but I've stopped buying anything on amazon due to their tax avoidance scheme in the UK. Might as well use Play even if they are in Jersey. They pay their taxes although not to the UK government.

I have been downloading my music, but have thought about buying the albums of my favorite artists to support their conquest of music world. Only problem they sell the records in holland and need get them shipped here + many times it seems there are none in stock.
Love music though and like mixing. i have been thinking maybe doing dj gigs in future. Only problem i see in here is that the start up costs for licences of the songs. Even after you have bought them you need to pay to play them in bars and places, i doubt youll even get booked without the licence to play them. + the licence is quite expensive, I remember i read that 1000 songs were about 500e/year + ofc w/e you paid to obtain them.
Also i like hardcore and hardstyle, its not listened much here so i don't know if i can stand playing those fucking shit pop chart tracks for over 6 hours straight. got to stick mixing at home for fun atleast for now.
