Namecheap

I never thought about that. I only own in the hunderth range of domains, so several cents more or less do not make any difference as expenses.

Stricly from a seo point of view, YES.

Never heard of them.

Do you have better ideas?

Buy from namecheap, you get a whois guard for free and you can protect your identity- in case you use the real one.

Thank you for your help
You are welcome

Thank you Nick Flame
Private Registrations also with nuggetnames
What do you mean by "Stricly from a seo point of view"

Any other advices

I use namecheap and resellerclub (started using them when namecheap raised the price on their .info's)

Use a reputable registrar. Don't worry about saving a couple of pennies (and losing thousands in the long run) by messing with to many registrars. If you buy a decent amount of domain names go with ResellerClub. I've been using them for a few years and I've never lost a domain with them. Namecheap is also very solid like mentioned by Nick Flame but they're more expensive than ResellerClub.

How can you loose a domain name?

Its very easy to lose domain names - just go with dodgy domain resellers anyone remember Registerfly - I lost some really good domains because of them.

I personally use GoDaddy now, hope they are secure!

Yup godaddy 1.99 info special FTW !

You got an infraction for that hidden ref link. Try that once more and you are banned from this forum. Please read the rules.

ResellerClub have .info $1.69

I think I will go for ResellerClub

any other advice

did anyone had problems with ResellerClub?

I use godaddy. You can easily find promo codes by doing some google search.

I always use dynadot. very quick, easy to use interface and they actually answer the phone if needed. sold for life on them.

ResellerClub is nice but you need to make initial deposit minimum: 199$ to buy anything.

I'm going to try http://directdot.com/ .info for 1.69$ and free privacy :p
