How much should I pay a VA to do data entry

where do u get urs and how much do u pay them?

Pay them what they're worth. Negotiate a salary with them.

It's like asking "how much does food cost?".
 
also in BHW there is one VA assistent sellter, that seems to be quite good. YOu may have amiddleman, but at least you can expect some sort of quality.
 
There are many reputed members offering VA services here, just post what you need on hire a freelancer section.
 
im looking for someone for 1-2 dollars a hour. Do you think thats enough?
 
I haven't gone lower than $3.5 per hour and if you need at least a bit of quality, I don't think you can or should go much lower than that. Quality usually pays for itself - if you pay a shit salary, you shouldn't be surprised to get shit work.
 
I'm a VA and will never work for $1-2 per hour.

That all depends what kinda work quality you would need from them? You pay peanuts, you get monkeys, as simple as that.

Even in India you won't find anyone working for that price, until unless that person is some teenage kid working in his undies to earn some beer for himself. But then he won't deliver you ever.

Some pretty solid people on there. $250 or so a month for a part-timer. I'm all about it.
