Where do I start?

I am a total newbie (as per my username) in Black Hat and I need some help on where to start. I am launching a new website shortly and like everyone else want to get as many people to find it to generate income.

Can you please direct me where to begin in Black Hat methods, SEO, etc. or provide some suggestions.

I'm a noob and I can relate to not knowing where to start. Thing is though, this hole blackhat thing does take some work, everyone has to do it and not everyone wants to give up all their knowledge and spell it all out for others. I think searching out answers is part of the process and rewarding too. You've come to the right place to start.

Things that have worked for me:

Downloading the ebooks and pdfs that people link in the forum. A lot of these are written for beginners and lay out a fairly easy to follow process. If you already have some SEO knowledge you'll be able to jump into these and understand them fairly quickly.

Reading a lot of blackhat blogs has been a big help. Find one you really like, follow all the blogroll links and also go into the comments and check out the sites of people who have left insightful comments. Then repeat. You'll find there are a TON of blogs that aren't listed in the search engines but have great information. It's time consuming. There's a lot to soak in but it's worth it.

Keep on reading this forum and reading blogs and you will learn. It takes some time but it's really worth it. You can come to the forum and instead of asking "I have no idea where to start, what do I do?" you can ask "I did X and tried Y and am thinking of trying Z, does anyone have experience using Z in order to accomplish _______ ?" You'll find that a question which comes from an educated position, asking for specific info is very likely to be answered by someone, because they see you've worked hard and are stuck and just need a nudge.

That's just my opinion though. I'm fairly new to the forum. I'm experienced in SEO but not so much in the ways of blackhat. I'm learning, I'm studying, I'm getting inspired and devising an action plan.

I think you've already found maybe the best place to learn, so keep looking around.
For some other places to look, try SEObook and SEOmoz for SEO learning and Blue Hat SEO to start getting introduced to the gray zones. Start exploring the links at that site and you're on your way.

You need to start with yourself, find what works for you! Make sure that your getting into the thing that you like and strive 100%, read and learn everything you can. Also don't focus on one thing. You need to have wide selection of profits coming in. One source is okay but the idea is to expand and become as big as you can. Buy domains, park them, build them, get them indexed, make sure that your not getting into something that was like 5 years ago. Always remember that it comes down to you, somethings work for some people and others don't.

Don't get caught in the rat race trying to download everything and just having a bunch of shit on your computer that you never use. Find the good things and stick with them. Also get affiliates and software to help you along the way. There are a million things you can do for free as well, which as explained above can be found right here at black hat. This place is so resourceful and there is so much to utilize that you should have no problem getting your self started and making money.

I like the way MrDee23 put it. Ask your questions that way and you will get respect, don't and some people will not be so kind in there responses, LOL

you cannot just start a website and say "okay im using blackhat methods to generate traffic and income"

blackhat marketing methods are just "tricks" to get things done faster and easier, you will still have to know how online marketing works, that way you know how to properly use the loopholes (ie blackhat methods)
