before i start with blackhat i really need to learn about whitehat.
i found this site looking for info about an exploit of adsense with a warez site but now i realize before i start doing anything here maybe i need to learn the basics.

    i know absolutely nothing.

so if anyone can direct me towards where somebody that knows nothing should start please do.

You could start by downloading the Aaron Wall Seo Book from here:

The information might be a bit old but most of the basics are still valid.

When you are done with that you might want to look around the members download section for any downloads that are related to Howie Schwartz this guy has really interesting ideas and his methods do work.

I know it's fun to dis Ed Dale, but I think every noob should do the Thirty Day Challenge. I was on the first page of Google first time I tried it. Didn't make any money but that's another story. Doesn't cost anything to do it and he often comes up with some great tools for free. ie. Market Samurai.
He's totally white hat. Google 30 day challenge.
    Flame away.

I'd give another vote for The Thirty Day Challenge by Ed Dale. It's totally free, and will ramp you up nice and easy from knowing nothing to having a solid foundation.

You should get Google's SEO guide, it offers a significant amount of value and it is very free. Just search for "google seo" and the first result should have a link to one of the best ebooks I have ever read... LOL
