Where do I put the ad code so the ad appears next to my website logo in the header? I am using wordpress and godaddy hosting.

I think you should look in a theme settings/template files and find appropriate place there.

go to widgets header add place is there to add your website ad code or else go to setting check the ad empty tag there you place your ad code

Check how browser renders page and a no more about html. It takes only thirty seconds to put the code

i cant really suggest until you show the code of the header or the logo , moslty its next where the logo <div> ends.
