Where do i get my clients and how should i approach them

So my friend proposed for me an affiliation programme for his buisness,he make stainless steel rails and he offered me a good commision for each client i can get him
So i started doing my research,basically potential clients are people with villas,pools,banks,resturants or if i got lucky an entrepreneur with a big building project


My goal is just one client for now,So i wanted to come to the best people in buisness and ask for advice
What i did so far :
-found a buisness directory in my country that let me send them emails.
-found 500 company in construction that i can code a small bot to send them all a message .
- created a simple and clean website for my friend buisness with pictures of our buisness and what we do.

Can you please tell me
-the best converting emails that i can use (any idea or template is welcome ) and how should i approach them online (at least get a call from them )
-what should and shouldn't do or say
-what other places online i can search for potential clients and how should i approach them

You might be better calling them directly OR sending them a physical letter. Something a bit like 7878 method (but obviously its different subject matter):

Maybe a combination of the two - a phone call to get the name of the decision maker and then send letter directly for their attention.

I just think that emails are too likely to get ignored or not even get to the right person in the first place.....

I am not a good talker i mean i can't explain what we do over the phone,i can negotiate the price then referer them to my friend as my boss or partner
I'll try sending few letters the problem is only feww list their adress at least in that website,but most of them list their fax
is there anything i can do with it ?

Customers recruiting is specific for each area. Cold calls are no more efficient, especially if you don't have some persuading power.
But you should call. Why?
1. under any pretext (think it up) find out the email of necessary person
2. find out his name
And the next and the most impostant step is creation of selling letter. You can find numerous articles on how to write such letter, what headlines to use. You should create a few templates of such letter (with different headlines and text) and just test what works for you.
Except direct marketing there're a lot of other methods and platforms for advertising: thematic forums, social networks, blogs, even videos etc.
