Where do I get good themes for wordpress authority site?

Hey guys, I am planning on building an authority site on top of another mini authority site I have going on. This one is going to be my passion so I can stick to it for a year and see how everything goes with white hat.

Anyway I was searching around for themes and stumbled across genesis but they are so expensive. Is there a place I can find good authority site driven themes for an animal niche authority site with good monetizing options?

The cheaper the better for me. Good things don't have to be costly.

theme forest have some good themes and also elegant themes.
 
I guess he wasn't asking where to get a theme ! He was asking which theme is working good for authority site :)

@OP : it depends on your Niche. Popular Wordpress Themes on Themeforest are very good.. Elegant theme , Theme Junkie ... It depends on your requirements. Authority site doesn't affect your theme, its your Niche. So, look for authority sites in your niche, your thoughts and requirements. Then, go and find what you like more

or as above, search on blackhatworld and you can find some good sources.
 
Agree.. Theme forest is a good place. I've been using Avada and MayaShop which I found there. Popular themes
 
Themeforest and elegent themes both are good just check out the designs from the official site then select one of your choice and do a search here in BHW for download :)

Hi, I'm using Woothemes Canvas, that I bought $10! It's highly adaptive. You can customize a lot of things and it's simple to use.
You can buy it for 10 bucks from GPLclub and Andy Sozot or sites like these.
Basically, it's because wordpress and wordpress themes are under the GPL license, so it's legal to buy them from other sources at discounted price.
 
you can search for themes for cheap in various forums like digitalpint,blackhat,emoneyspace etc,, you would get premium templates for very cheap price in forums rather than purchasing directly from sites
 
It isn't costly to purchase a premium theme out there in the market but which theme(s) exactly suit your niche is a whole new level :)
