Where Did You Guys Find Your Content Writers?

Where did you guys find your content writers? I'm still lurking for that perfect, reasonable price content writer, that can write about anything lol...
Everytime i posted a job on upwork a year or two ago everyone would be interested, now they are all doubling the price i even asked for.. ridiculous.

Where did you guys find yours?

Found one here but it was shit and he clearly didn’t get what I was after.

Atm no other experience other then giving @ScribScribScrib a try in the near future. And I would love it if @Sherb gave it a go. There are 2 others, but can’t remember their handles atm.

And as ussual, wait for others to give their input about the various BHW writers.
 
High price is not always giving the high quality articles. I ever try the expensive one but the result sucks. Another day i tried the cheap one but the result good compared to the expensive. Lol
 
1. Approach poor college students
2. Teach them the basics of SEO
3. Cheap, high-quality, vetted, fresh content all around

That's what I would do if I were trying to snag myself an indentured servant.

What sort of budget are you looking at and is this for money site or inner pages or PBN?

That's one important factor.

Those with better no of clients and high exposure get better oppurtunity in bargaining

Hey MisterF, Money site :) , and around $10-15/1k words is ok..
 
try fiverr, but read reviews fist and remember - cheap is not allways bad ;)

ehhhh fiverr :/ you might be right, some sellers are probably sending top notch quality, but from what ive heard fiverr is a shit place for content

Don't take this the wrong way my friend, you're not a native English speaker I'd guess. What you consider good could be based on what Yoast tells you or Grammarly perhaps.

I like a writer who can use a nice flow of words, nuances, slang and phrases that would actually come out of someones mouth, as opposed to just being on a page of text. Often articles are as boring as fuck, despite being well written.

Academic writing is proof of that.

I will inform the writer of the style, tone and who the content is aimed at when sending in details.
Sometimes I'll request it written first person or sometimes second person and even very rare times will ask for third person.
 
So here are a few of my strategies. I love how @LuckyCharm007 writes and have used him a bunch for Amazon Affiliate! Also, I goto Upwork and find a writer who will do content for $15 dollars per 1,000 words. Another strategy is post an ad on craigslist under gigs in college towns. I live near Madison WI and that is a big college town. I posted same thing as Upwork, looking for writer, $15 dollars per 1,000 words. Now, I use example websites or articles that I have gotten from other people to train the new people on what I want/structure. You might need multiple writers depending on how comfortable they are with certain subjects. On craigslist, I found one good person out of like 20. Most people dont follow through or flake out on you.

Well I like writers who can writer stories as if they were there experiencing the shit.

Everyone here charges more than 40/1000 words...

@ScribScribScrib writes like that.

@irishengteacher does write well, if you need high quality researched article then he is good. (Engagement part was missing when I ordered, but he did fix it)

@Sudarshan Kar is my permanent writer, he has made me more money than anyone I know :) He's a storyteller and the content is like a conversation. I love to order review content from him.

@JamesBlake pretty good writer, engaging and even makes tables, infographics etc for you at $50/1000 words. The content structure is good.

@ContentWriter pretty good first experience with them, they did an awesome job. Content was informative and like a conversation but the structure was pretty bland. Would try more articles then will be better i.guess :) for $20/1000 (they do a very good job)

All the others who I have tried have disappointed me :l

Next on my list is @Sherb but I am finding a worthy article for him :P

Choose wisely...

You just have to get content once, it will stay on your site till it's active...

Even after that if it gets scraped :P

For internet marketing people content makes the most money ;)

Agree. Atm Grammarly causes me enough headaches as a non-native writer and sometimes confuses da ef out of me. Althoug a great tool you’ll need a lot of other sources to figure out what the ef Grammy is on about.

For moneysite content I would advice using a native writer. And keep in mind if you target the US or UK, because between them their are a lot of differences.

I.e. Utilize vs Utilise. Perfectly fine in GB, but not so much in the US*.

*Real native writers; feel free to slap me on the head if I even managed to ef this one up!

Most people here in America literally don't even know that there are different US/UK spellings.
And they will likely judge you for it. (we're also often taught that you can't start a sentence with the word 'and' for some reason, which nobody else seems to have an issue with)

At least here on BHW and fiverr, I haven't gotten what I consider money site content for anything less then $20-$30+/1k words.
Really depends what you consider money site content though, as it's a bit subjective.
I mean, I've gotten good content for less then that, but it's always required editing, and sometimes a lot of it.
