Since there are a lot of experts on this forum in loads of different things, I am interested in how you started, where you started and why.

I needed money to pay my phone bill, which was $50 a month at the time. So I picked up a job on CL writing articles at $1 an article.

I didn't know any better back then. Now I charge way more, and I'm in the process of expanding my business to include offline marketing for local businesses.

My business got better when I got to this forum. I got so much advice from the people here, and I started straightening up my act and being more rigid with myself.

I'm proud to say that I just hired my first employee to manage a part of my business so I can focus on something else. Not a VA - a real manager.

Got scammed found the person on BHW, got reading, got over being scammed, was a copywriter for a few years,got banned for 2 years from BHW for telling the truth started to hate SEO companies that were full of shit, created my own, have tonnes of clients, starting to hate clients, creating my own sites to be a proper IM.

I used to sell computers in home town, started selling them online before everyone else in hometown and then started doing the same for other businesses through SEO. It's been 20+ years.
