Where did PR originate?

As I sit here on the toilet, pondering on the mysteries of life, I find myself wondering where PR originated from? I know the story behind the name, but for a page to gain PR it must have PR back links, which got their PR from other PR back links. You get the idea... So where did it start? Did google just hand some PR out or does a brand new page possess a tiny bit of PR?

That is mean PR called page rank show the ranking position of high page ranking quality worth's.
 
It's very complicated byt basically their algorithm make certain assumptions about certain big sites. Sites that have a high standard of publishing were awarded a high PR. These assumptions change all the time as well.
