If you live in the US, we already have good social programs like welfare or unemployeement. We even have a program where the government will help pay your rent for at least year until you are able to get back on your feet.
If you are truely in need, and this is not some fake pity thread to get some methods, then I suggest you use those programs to provide stability in life. Once you are on those programs, then I suggest you continue to look for a job.
