Maybe its not for beginners but its a great site and it's what I use wp.tutsplus.com It has many tutorials from beginner to advanced.
 
YouTube with the right search phrases can be a good source for tuts. More advanced problems will likely not be addressed and you can find advice from wordpress support forums or from wordpress answers. Wordpress is designed largely to be very easy to use and the community is generally very supportive. For custom theme support you will likely need to get a support from the theme creator. For that reason I would search out a theme that is rated highly for support.
 
WordPress. org offers all kind of information on the subject.
 
If you're planning on building a few, learn how the WordPress structure works as early as you can. Look for the "WP theme infographic". Its by yoast I think. Super helpful for me. Once you know how to use the building blocks you can mash together some pretty awesome things. Things people will buy on themeforest, etc.
 
Just buy or download a wordpress theme..The theme documentation will teach you
 
It's not a video but a book I found really useful, which I still often refer back to today is Digging into WordPress by Chris Coyier.
 
I set up hosting with godaddy, I called them up and asked them to help me set up wordpress and they gladly did it for me and talked me through the process.
